Coaching Staff
Our coaches are the core reason for our club’s success and truly pride ourselves on our coaching staff. We understand that it’s the coaches who are the ones that directly impact each player and each team. Our coaches train players in advanced technical skills, team players about game strategies, and build positive relationships in order to create a positive team dynamic. While the individual player is highly valued, our
coaches also teach players teamwork and structure through developing relationships and healthy competition, as well as the value of working with others toward a common goal. This leads to development, improvement, and success on and off the court.
Training Program
A comprehensive volleyball training program can decrease injury and increase explosive power, jump height, stamina, and speed and agility on the court. It should include the following:
- Stretching of the lower extremities, shoulders, and lower back
- Strengthening exercises for the abdominals, legs, and shoulders especially the rotator cuff
- Jump training including box jumps, lateral jumping, and block jumps
- Speed and agility drills including sprints, ladder drills, court circuits, and lateral shuffles
